Off Topic - My chance to buy a 1910 Buick Model 14

A car that has been sitting in the same garage for 60 years (in dry storage) is being offered to me as a long time friend of the family. Neither they nor I have much of an idea how to set a value. They want to treat me right; I don't want to take advantage. Any thoughts on how to go about this would be appreciated. If anyone here has any experience with this model, I would enjoy a chance to learn what might be involved in getting it to run again.

Marc, I would suggest signing up on:

They would have a lot of exposure to these cars, there is even a Buick section there.

There is one for sale on HCCA for 24,500. I have 1 that I use on the New London, New Brighton in Minnesota that I've owned for about 12 years. Parts are not plentiful. Message me if you want, Steve
