Toledo tour

Post by TWrenn » Sat Aug 06, 2022 10:09 pm

Members of our local club were invited to join some members of the Maumee Valley T's club today to join them on a great tour from the Genoa area into Toledo to a neat antique fire house museum. It was a great ride, a very nice museum with a 1919 Chemical truck plus other vintage fire apparatus. Then we crossed the street, down a bit, to a neat little retro candy shop. After that it was off to a great Italian restaurant.

We met at Kim & Terry Masserats lovely country home to unload the '13. Mike & Betty Wilson led the way in their red touring. Terry & Kim used their Model A roadster, Bill Rowles in his '20 Runabout, and our club Pres. Mike Parker brought up the rear in their awesome '65 T-bird. Tom Sloma rode shotgun with me. Was a bit warm, but a great tour all day. Pics to follow of course!

I missed it to, passed about two miles from my house. We were in Port Clinton at a car show most of the day.
Kind Regards
John

And todaaay....I was back near Toledo, in Sylvania, fetching a newly acquired '20 touring for a new model T friend we met at one of our picnic tours a month ago 2 blocks from his house in Huron. As a good friend helped me fetch my cars before I got my own trailer, so I paid it forward to help this newbie. It was a good day too. A HOT 🔥 day, but a good day. He's happy as a champion! I was happy to help.
