In need of a float for a Holley S. Reproduction not made. Holley G float too large.
a) Is there a substitute that can be amended/tweaked?
b) Is there someone who has one for sale?
c) Has anyone trimmed a modern material G float to create an S float?
d) Is there a coating that can be applied onto the original cork float to prevent gasoline absorption?
e) Does anyone have a Kingston modern material float for sale...thinking it maybe a comparable size for an S float?
f) In need of a brass bowl for the Holley S also.

You're going to simply have to make one. Vendors sell the material to do it.

NOTE: it is more buoyant than cork, so you will have to carefully and laboriously whittle it down "skinnier" than the old cork one before you get to the correct fuel level

Hey Jay,
A few years ago I had the same problem.
Here is what I did.

The float that was in it before was a Holley NH float and it worked well with a little change on it at the hinge.
I think the gaskets were available.

Andre. Earlier I explored using an NH float. It seemed to me that it would be compatible with a little tweaking on the lever. Thanks for confirming that it will work. :D This would be easier than making a new one. I was also advised in a different forum that a John Deere float AR10067 would also be very compatible. Looks like your bowl had cracks. Mine has cracks too. I'll solder from the interior if I can't find/buy a good one.
