The Jelf Report Evening Edition
Steve made good time today leaving Tuscola Illinois across the the state and halfway through Missourah. He’s camping out in Jefferson City Mo tonight.
Only had one hiccup, in New Florence Mo he discovered his right front tire was down to the cord. He replaced the tire with a new but older “Nonskid “ that he brought along. Driving to JeffCity he noticed that tread was good but the sides were all checked. So the search for a good replacement begins when he nurses his car down here at LakeOzark.
Steve has a special request. If anyone in the Mid Missouri area has a good or new 30 X 3in tire they can spare Steve would be most grateful. You can mssg me George here or on FB Mssgr Thanks.

Well, he made it to our house Friday night.
I didn't get to spend much time with him at the show, but we had some GREAT conversations both evenings. He told some wonderful stories about his family and homesteading in the late 1800s. He's got so much history to share it's incredible.

I haven't heard from him since he left Sunday morning. We ended up taking apart his ignition system and doing a good cleaning and tightening of parts. Hopefully it's holding up!

I am gonna tell your teacher, but you probably learned more working on Steve's car than you will ever learn in class.

LOL, Dave, I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. And learned a lot about the T ignition system for when we finally get ours done.

And, yes, I did do some homework Saturday morning.
