The last picture of a T driving through a Sequoia in California was probably taken in the 20’s.
Wasn’t that tree damaged or burned since then? I hope not but lots of fires have happened since then.
That tree has been in National Geographic a few times.

If that's the Wawona Tunnel Tree, it is now a big log.! I first passed through it in 1945 with my parents in a 1936 Ford. Also later in a 1931 Model T Phaeton in 1962. Then later in a 1949 Cadillac Fleetwood about 1979. Now the road is closed to cars and you take a shuttle bus. The tree fell down a number of years ago. It's a wonder it lasted as long as it did with the weight above the damaged trunk.

Tom the first picture of the child holding the crank handle is interesting not only for the contrast but also because of the headlamp. It appears to be a Jno Brown model 19 but with a model 15 door. I do love the picture & the information teased in the headlamp.

The no. 16 picture from the top looks like it’s a new car that’s either being delivered or to be taken somewhere. It’s a 2 tone car with a new spare rim and no tags. I’ll bet it’s a grey or beige color with black fenders. Maybe a 25 Touring? Probably Ford?

I look at these and try to imagine what it was like that then. And I marvel at the fact that these are every day cars. Any photos of these vintage with the Halloween theme?
