1926 Model T transition times.

Here is another pic from 1926 in Borger, Tx. The oldest T that I can see is maybe a 23. Undoubtably there were earlier T’s around but maybe not so much on this particular day. Times were changing I guess. The date appears to be mid 26.

At least 1930. Some of those cars look like Model A's

Makes me sad to think some of those cars could be crushed and sold to the Japanese in the late 1930s..

The picture is dated 1926. (lower left) The A Model-looking cars may be Dodges or other popular cars that were about 5 years ahead of Ford on styling. Borger hardly existed prior to early 1926. An oil boom and "Ace" Borger, et al, changed that very quickly, and I would imagine new cars were selling briskly as thousands of people streamed into the area. Many probably lived in their cars.
