Here's a silly question, is it possible to remove the driveshaft without removing the engine or rear end? I need to repair the 4th main engine bearing.
Thank you

One or the other has to make room. Depending on year of the car, you could move the engine forward without removal. But you are now so close to puling the engine and doing that work on an engine stand. Probably less work to just remove the rear end and drive shaft.

Unfortunately if the 4th main is bad, it is highly probable that there are other problems in the engine. I would certainly look at the centre main. Also is the pan straight.
Transmission bushings.
Just my experience.
