This Texas family T was photographed in 1937 going to California. They were migrants going to pick fruit. The owner told the photographer they were moving there and taking what they had with them. Check out the spare that’s strapped to the hood.
Tough times for these folks.

The high chair implies that they were traveling with a small child.

And the spare tire is absolutely threadbare. Homemade wagon canvas and hoops tells me they had no motel reservations However ‘Centennial’ license plates are now highly sought after. Thanks John !!
