A few of us went out for our monthly "Winter Be Damned" run this afternoon around Strathcona County SE of Edmonton. Lovely day for a drive, sunny and just below freezing. No mechanical issues and we even sorted a problem with the '11 Touring and returned home running better than when we left. 50+ miles for us in the '26 Touring including getting to the muster point. Sissified modern 1930 Hudson Eight brought up the rear.

" Sissified " Hudson ????..... The driver must have been tortured by the hot water heater inside the car ?

I love winter drives like that.
If it is too cold, just take out the floormat and the top floorboard...

Robert: yes, sissified.
Four extra cylinders, windows (roll-ups no less), carpets, cloth upholstery…

… water pump, oil pump, fuel pump, four (yes, four) springs in the suspension, the list goes on.
Oddly enough, Hudson cheaped out on the ignition system and used just the one coil.

I’m beginning to think this would make a nice snowmobile conversion. (Photos are from last winter; no accumulation of snow so far this year.)
