I'd love to walk in there and buy period parts at period prices.

It was most likely delivered by railway express!

I think we all do! :D

The unframed picture in the left foreground appears to be a painting of men in a canoe. Another item looks like a grocer's scale. Maybe that's a general store just after a delivery of new stock. The overhead lighting is pretty fancy for a dedicated store room.

This defines the aera and leaves "what's in the boxes" to our imaginations.
Wonderful to see.
Thanks

I noticed the scales too. Not too many T parts I can recall are sold by weight. I think they may have sold other stuff as well.

Maybe that's a freight office on a very busy day. There appear to be several wheeled platforms with pipe railings loaded with stuff. There's an item that looks like a canvas bin that might be for smaller items. Maybe the train just unloaded, or is just about to arrive to be loaded.

There's a place in Baldwinville MA that has a back room and basement that looks a lot like that picture...... could it be time travel?

Could it be a shipment of parts and etc that hasn’t been stocked or put up yet? But maybe that’s the way this store operated.
