Trying to find a set of pliers that were in the 1915 tool kit. Is the attached picture the correct pair?

I have my doubts. Ford pliers have the Ford script and one of the handles is tapered down to double as a screwdriver.

I have read that even the early car pliers had one handle tapered, can anyone show their early Ford script pliers that do not have the taper on one handle?
BTW, the pliers in my pic came with my 1924 when I bought it in 2013, whether they are the pliers that came with the car when it was built I can't say.

I wish I knew how to post a link, but I can't. Additional info can be found if you use the forum search feature, and search: "Info on Ford script pliers".

This is from a repro of the 1915 parts List. While it isn't a clear picture, I believe it shows the taper for the screwdriver.

I usually use Google for my searches. Do a Google search on "pliers mtfca" and dozens of old threads will come up that will leave you more confused than when you started.

Jeff, the ones you found and the ones in the very next post are markedly different in overall shape. I let that be my guide when looking. All I Have found with the Ford script are the general shape of Mark's second photo. I pass on other shapes, some of which are branded ENFO, as English tools for their cars. There are many others, just like the Ford ones, which are unbranded, so I pass on those too.

Have the print on the #1903 Ford pliers, the print is the later version, all the relevant data is contained in the Record of Changes, so for your 1915 set, the pliers should have the details set out where I noted '1915', the detail of the screwdriver tip dimensions are the best way to I.D. a pair for your 1915. The Ford script was on the pliers early 1916 (maybe earlier, as the Record was undated sometimes after a vendor change), but the location was also changed on later dates.
Most all have the screwdriver tip, and in 1920 when the Wood Handle Screwdriver was obsoleted, the plier tip was changed in dimension to better replace the wood screwdriver size.

Jeff,
Those pliers look like the ones supplied in the V8 Ford tool kits from the mid to late 1930's. Also the Ford 8N tractor tool kit.
