Hi Folks,

Can anybody tell me how I could stop the Choke Rod from vibrating clockwise or anti clockwise thereby changing the mixture on my 1927 Model T
Holley NH Carburettor 6200REBB item number from Langs catalogue

Where the swivel is connected to the top of the carburetor, there is a double edge crimp which fits the top of the jet where the needle valve enters the carburetor. Pinch those two sides closer together and it will hold the rod in place.

As Norm posted. Crimp the split collar around the barrel to get more resistance to prevent adjustment backing off.

Thanks to Norm & Dan for the very quick response. Would I be correct in thinking its the black "U" clamp that moves over the brass part of the jet. I'll try that tomorrow.

Happy Christmas, from Ireland, to you both & your families and best wishes for 2023.

Yes. You need to remove the needle & squeeze those 2 tabs together a little.

I also put a rubber grommet in the dash.
