Since the Lang's part numbers 2907(inline somewhat for early sediment bowls) and 6055(elbow into carb type) are no longer being made that I know of, plus the 6055RE(elbow into carb type) has not had the best reviews, and I am tired of buying period looking old cutoffs on Ebay that unluckily for me are worn out once I get them to clean up, lap, and try(none seal gas completely off - even after lapping and using E/Z Turn lubricant on the valve shaft), I am searching for a "period looking" gas cutoff for near the carb, preferably an inline one, so I can remove the carb and still have the cutoff right close to it in place, as a second cutoff in addition to the sediment bowl cutoff(potato type with the long side valve arm - Langs 2902B) As we all know, there is limited room right at the carb anyway, between the frame and the motor, plus between the carb and the firewall.

My thoughts are the ball type cutoff is best for as close as you can get for a perfect seal? Yet, all that I find look so modern - the handle part especially. So does anyone have any suggestions for me? If so, please provide if you can a part number, make if possible, and where to buy it too would be awesome?

Thanks for your reading time and hopefully someone can help me???!!!

Lastly, have a safe, well, and Happy New Year to all!!!

You may want to look at the offerings of this eBay seller. https://www.ebay.com/str/themaytagshed

I have no affiliation, but purchased one of their valves two years ago and am pleased. It rotates easily and doesn’t leak.
