Several of us retrieved a very neglected 26 touring car today for one of our younger members at a very attractive purchase price.
The young purchaser took it home. Evidently the wife was not impressed and told the young buyer they were not going to keep the car.
The son of the buyer, maybe less than 10 years old, was told by his father what the mother had said. After a few moments, the son says to the farther; well dad, I guess we will just have to take it apart and hide the parts in the rafters of the barn!
Classic!!!

Wow! One persons treasure is another persons trash or least favorite toy? I had a good friend build up a 69 Mustang and his son drove and liked it until he gave to his son after he graduated from college. A few weeks later the son came home with a new pickup and so much for the Mustang! They had worked on it together while he son was in high school.
