Will a No. 2 Aermore whistle work on a T?

I have been thinking about getting an Aermore whistle but I am not sure what size I should be looking for. The most common size I see is the No. 2, but I don’t know if that will work on a T. I see that there are smaller sizes, but I don’t seem to see them for sale and can’t find dimensions.

I have a number 2 and the smaller one. Neither is installed yet. I need to make two new tubes for the #2 and repair the remaining two tubes. Below are some dimensions of the tubes. The lengths listed below were measured from the inside of the end cap to the edge of the cut notch. They are not overall lengths (add about 1").

Aermore measurements.jpg
Number 2"
1.134" OD, 1.038" ID
5.58"
7.77"
9.35"
11.18" (I don't have this tube. I created a frequency spreadsheet to calculate it.)

Smaller no-number whistle:
1" OD
.904" ID
3.83"
5.56"
6.77"
8.50"

I don't know yet whether either will work on a Model T. I am currently soaking the exhaust valve on the #2 to free it up. I did test the smaller whistle using an air compressor. A friend of mine heard it 2 miles away.

The aermore shown here is correct for a T. A smaller unit will sound more shrill. A larger unit will sound deeper, more hollow.
