What color are the trim pieces and windshield frame supposed to be

Looking for help trying to decide on trim colours for 27 coupe.
I have searched the forum but seem to get different opinions on what is original. I was planning to paint the dash, windshield frame, and windshield side trim/swing arm bracket body color, but the lower steering bracket black. The window trim pieces black.
I like the look of the windshield frame exterior body color but would kind of rather have the interior part of the frame black.
Curious what was original and if anyone has photos of a similar scheme?

Windshield, interior window trim and dash, same color as the body. If the body is green, they are painted green. If the body is painted maroon, they are painted maroon.
Radiator apron, fenders, light buckets and light connector rod, black. Jim Patrick

Black windshield (inside and out), black widow moldings, body color dash. Other areas not often asked about: black spare tire carrier, and black rear wheel well. Wire wheels came from the factory only in black, dealer installed option for red, green, or straw.

Just a few things to denote: my all original 27 has a black steering wheel and brake handle.

The interior trim on the door window, quarter panel, and rear window were black on my 1927 coupe which I believe are original.

Nothing associated with the steering column is supposed to be green, or any color other than black. I seriously doubt that any interior window trim was any color other than black as well. The parking brake lever also belongs black.

Well regardless, my '25/26 Fordor interior trim is black, and I have to say I've never seen a resto paint job on trim as nice as is on this car. Smooth as a baby's bottom and then some!

Listen to Bruce (BLB27). He had the nicest, all original 1927 coupe I’ve ever seen and he is doing a great job on restoring it back to assembly line condition. Jim Patrick

Thanks everyone, interesting to see the two original assembly line photos both with different windshield colours.
Bruce, considering the original condition of your interior, did you have any photos of the dash and windshield areas?

Here is a picture of my unrestored 1927 Tudor for reference to windshield frame color.

John, not sure I can tell from your photo, what color is your tudoor windshield frame?

You can see what is left of the green paint on the lower body and upper door and windshield post. The windshield frame is clearly not the same color. I believe this car has never been repainted. I don't know if other cars had body color matching windshield frames, but this one is black.

BTW, the interior trim around the Windows are black also and the dash is green.

Brent, Here are several photos that you asked for. I am not sure what color the windshield frame was originally. I think it was black. The second photo shows it same as body color, but based on the third and fourth, it appears the the back side was black. I assume we painted the front side the same as the body during the repaint.
The coupe was painted in 1954 when I was a junior in high school. Unfortunately, I do not remember much about the repaint. A young man moved from California to my home in North Dakota. He had been painting cars in California so I had him paint it. I do remember the body paint was lacquer. My 11-27-21 11:12pm post, generated discussions about my coupe's original color.
It is now maroon with the windshield frame black and interior window trim black!

Thanks Bruce for the photos, nice looking body! I can say that in this case and my wife won’t get upset ha ha!
Here’s mine!
Also have a question for you experts out there what are the three holes for on the left side of the dash (see photo) the two outside are square and the middle is round.

Those 3 holes don't belong there. Somebody added them for an accessory of some sort.
