Hcct meter mounting

Post by AndyClary » Wed May 01, 2019 8:41 pm

Does anyone have any photos showing how the meter mounts on an 18z245 cool tester. Just picked one up that needs restoration and I might be missing something.

What is an "18z245 cool tester". I have 2 hand cranked coil testers and would be glad to send pictures.

Well, yeah, I missed that. This coil tester is the Ford design but doesn't have the script so it was one of the later clones. It uses the big Weston meter. Any photos or information would be appreciated.

This one was taken in 2014 where it's been ever since.

There should be a cradle that the meter mounts on.

I drive a Model T ... Microseconds don't matter :D

For every Absolute Model T Fact there are at least three exceptions.
