I picked this up a couple years ago and am just getting around to mess around with it now, someone has taken false cams off it and the boring bar has to be removed to install them back on, has anyone ever taken boring bar out?thanks

Been long time since I used one, here is a wag.
Run bar as far as you can one way and unbolt the cap on end of frame, remove that bushing and fit fake cam. Reinstall bushing , run bar as far as possible other direction and repeat.
Good luck Dan

Dan
I tried but the bar has a key slot and it stops before it clears the bushings

Well I said it was a wag not a swag. I don’t have a car Hempy anymore, but have a Fordson. I will try and drag in out tomorrow and look. Should be the same. Dan

That will be good. That way next guy will know how to do it.
I used one for a long time. I put a sprocket on mine and modified an old Linde wire feeder to power it. That cranking gets old fast. I put a reversing switch on the drive so I could run it in or out. Worked like a champ. Good luck with it. Dan
