Re: Interesting Body
The body is interesting but the story about Stan Howe being shocked by a spark plug causing pacemaker damage is even more interesting and something I have never heard before. Art

Re: Interesting Body
As stated by the seller in his description:
Yes, it is an interesting body... and it comes with a thoroughly unimpressive, misleading and all but certainly false bit of trivia
meaning: "I have no earthly idea why Stan died, but this makes a great story out of pure speculation and is done with a complete disregard for his general physical condition as has been related by numerous other people who visited him prior to his untimely death."It is likely that he touched a spark plug when someone was cranking the engine or when it was running.

Re: Interesting Body
I suspect that it is an original mail carrier body like this restored one.

Re: Interesting Body
a really neat video of mail being delivered in 1903 from a buggy: https://postalmuseum.si.edu/exhibition/ ... -mailboxes
There is no question of the genesis of the motorized mail carrier body.

Re: Interesting Body
Wonderful things including the video.
Out friend Bob Woodburn has a number of things still on eBay at premium prices. His reasoning has been discussed here many times.
For me, the pictures are fabulous and a treat to see.
Thanks for the opportunity to see them.
