White Tires should come with this Warning

Ever since I started driving my 15 Touring with White Tires I get mobbed with people wheeling cell phones asking to take photos. It was flattering at first as I felt like a One Man Car Show but its starting to get out of hand......went to the Grocery store today and one guy turned into about 20 people and then a guy with a 47 ford pickup showed up and it was on.

Please be forewarned and allow an extra hour or two if you plan on running errands equipped with White Eye Candy lol :D
Note: This time is on top of the hour Model T owners need when running Black Tires lol

After over an hour I had to make a quick Get Away

Could be the tires, could be the old car. People still love them.

Thanks Joe
All kidding aside I drive my car frequently and try to drive up enthusiasm. My objective is to motivate the next generation to go out and buy a T. The way I see it we are just custodians as the Model T belongs to the world and History. I just love letting kids sit in the drivers seat for a picture.....it's a simple pleasure in life to me.

Ron, same for me - kids, especially, seem to love it. My car is a bit of a heap, so I let them climb in and enjoy.

Ron,

I know exactly what you are talking about. We attended the "Cruisen the Coast" week long event on the Mississippi Gulf coast last October, that had over 9,000 registered cars.
Our '15 was the oldest registered car on the street. We attended several car shows, and the 1915 was VERY popular with the onlookers.

Everyone talks about how they are so much more expensive and they don't last as long....personally I think they look super sharp on a nice T. If and when the time comes that I am ever able to afford the '13 or '14 that I'd like to eventually own, I'll probably find myself splurging on some white tires. Just looks so fine!

There's no disputing that they're pretty, and I had a brief fling with them. But my T is a driver and sometimes makes long trips, so it wears black. That doesn't keep it from attracting attention. :)

I think 1915 is a good year but I also like the older ones. Problem is as the years go down the price goes up. Someday I hope to get a Torpedo for the legendary leg room.

Model T Ron....that is a nice looking car. I wish there were white tires available when I restored mine.
