21 inch tube?????

I found I had a flat on my pickup, wouldn't take air,so I finally got around to taking the wheel off and removing the tire.Only to find the tube came off but the valve stem stayed in the wheel.21 inch wire wheel
These tubes have been in the wheels and tires for a good while,8 years or so ,on my speedster project, bought new, back in 08 or so?
anyhow, i put the wheels on the pickup and probably didn't drive it 30 miles on them, and this tube has already let go of it's valve stem. I remember years back there was a tire shop near my work that put a valve stem on my TT tube , wasn't cheap, but it worked.
The local tire guys, don't even know what I am talking about.
So I went to langs website, ordered a tube online, first time I ever ordered from them entirely over the web and paid with a card, only to find the order is canceled.
What the heck?
So where do you get a tube? I am not in a terrible bind and don't mind shopping around as I have a couple spare tires and wheels but shucks, getting a tube was never this difficult in the past? what gives?

Mack if it took the stem off clean you could use a metal stem on it. Steve Jelf has a great blog on it. Here’s the link:

Check out the local Model A guys. That's where I get my 21" tires & tubes. For some reason the same tire & tube used on a model A is
cheaper than the ones used on a T. My grandfather used to soak rubber bands in glycerin to stop them from cracking. I wonder if a drop
or two every year around the stem would help?

So far all I found in my junque inventory is a bunch of screw on covers for the metal stems. No metal stems. I called and the tube I ordered online from Smith and Jones was sent out yesterday! So all will be well.
I will look around for a metal stem at the swap meets.
It appears Steve finds alot of them judging from his web blog

Thanks for the links and info folks, I got my new inner tube but have not had a chance to install it,But I did stumble over these on ebay, I would think they would be long enough for a 21 inch wire wheel?
https://www.ebay.com/itm/121074689424
Just thought I would mention them.
I like the metal stem idea, but can't quite grasp what keeps it from leaking with no glue or rubber gasket or anything.

Those look too short. Metal stems are easy. Clamping force holds them in. 10 minute job, easy.

Mack, those rubber stick on stems are likely long enough to work in wire wheels. However, they may be a little fatter in the stem than he valve stem hole in the wheel. Another source of stems may be a shop which works on trucks and agricultural machinery.

Allen, Smith and Jones hooked me up with a tube back shortly after I made this post, but you are right, those stems are fatter.
And Mr, AI Victor Patrick, thanks for digging up a old post.
So tell Us Victor, which oil is best in our T's!
Or better yet, if we place a water pump on a model T, will the water circulate in the other direction if we transport the car across the equator?
Let's put ol AI in a tailspin!~

I am in favor of the Model T Transmission oil at either 1800 weight motor oil or NGLI5 until it runs from the top cover. This also works for both the upper and lower water pumps.
When recharging the fuel pump (VERY IMPORTANT!) heat the pump to 155 degrees (c) to boil the old fuel out of the pump, so fresh fuel will be available for the motor. You will know you have reached this temperature when the brass globe begins to change colors. (Old Mechanic Trick).
AI me for more helpful tips for his T.

Many in the global community respire to inner tube emergency. Others turn to good old Heloise for tips on raising gilliflowers and assorted tuberous vegetables, such as the common potato salad. Use glycerin in moderation or your doctor will emerge from your medicine cabinet. Olive oil is superb, but be sure of its moral rectitude! You may use oregano, but many worthy patrons insist on dill, so leave your guns with the hat check girl and keep your cards close to your vest. Avoid the chewy stems. The metal ones are best. With new high speed technology, better inner tubes are just around the corner. Shop now for super summer bargains!

I think I'm going to give TXGOAT2's recipe a try.
Always searching for a new recipe for macaroni gravy. Yes, I said macaroni gravy, not spaghetti sauce. I was born and raised in So. Cal. but I was raised by New England Italians.
Thanks. I'll let you know how it turns out!
