Not everyone brings a speedster. Some people bring a Model T or a Model A and tour with the Speedsters.

The tour usually has 3-4 stops at interesting locations.

The next day is a hill climb.

The third day is usually for Dynamometer testing and the Banquet.

Lots of time in between events to tour one of the best automobile museums you have ever seen.

Location is in Lincoln, Nebraska, midway between the east and west coasts.

Dave, Karen and I want to attend but we've got a family reunion on the 24th out here in California and when we mentioned that we wouldn't be able to attend, the earth shook! So what will we miss if we leave our car there and fly home for the family on the 24th? We'll return on the 25th or 26th so we can drive the car home. Thanks.

Usually on the last day is the Dynamometer testing and then your afternoon is free until the banquet.

If anyone knows different, please correct me.

Thanks Dave, I don't mind missing the dynamometer testing but I sure hate missing the banquet. Well, we'll see what I can work out. Gotta do what ya gotta do.

Should be there with some old Fords. After all, it is 18 miles from home….

I have a truly wonderful family. They did the unthinkable and changed the family reunion date so that Karen and I can attend the Reunion without interruptions. Anyone that knows me well, I'm the biggest advocator of "When you have an established annual event date, don't change your annual event date for any reason , no matter what." So, now we'll drive old #4 out to the MTFCA National Tour, miss the last day of the tour so that we can attend the reunion and then head on home from there.

I just sent in my registration, It will be our (my son and I) first speedster reunion.

his son Cole drove my Speedster at OCF this summer.

Due to living way way out on the west coast, the pony express rider had his horse die of old age and had to borrow Farmer Browns mule. It took him nearly a halfa year to complete his rounds. So sorting thru the much delayed mail I saw the information and just got over excited and responded. After a quick trip to the hospital place to get my over pumping heart slowed down, I saw the error of my ways.

Having already mentioning the speedster run to my better half, she said lets go full speed ahead. AS she has relatives 30 miles southwest of Lincoln I've shot myself in the foot. I'm still stuck going to Lincoln for the relatives next June. For the last number of years I've managed to dodge the family reunion. but not next year..

p/s maybe in '2025 we will drive the "Flying Dutchman" to Lincoln. Bert drove it to California a couple of times and Reno twice. I'm guessing it will make another hiway trip. Maybe we could get other speedsters to make the run too.
