Torque on mains.

I have seen it somewhere ,but I can not find it now. Is the torque for the mains 45 foot lbs?

That's probably a little on the low side. I've used 60 ft-lbs for many years.

In this post, Herm recommends 80ftlbs. And tighten to align keyhole.

Since Ford gave no torque specs I just use the
Sae. Chart that goes by bolt size and pitch
