I lost one of the fender washers for my 1927 coupe. Dose anyone have an extra? If not, can anyone suggest how to make something that would replace it?

Go to Lowes or Home Depot-they sell different size fender washers. Shouldn't be too hard to find one.
Having said that, I don't recall that a washer like that was used originally.

My 26-27 car has carriage head bolts at that location. No washers on outside. Carriage bolt head is about 3/4 diameter, bolt shank is 3/8 or 5/16 with washer & hex nut thru fender brace.

Looks like someone used the big washer due to what appears to be a wallowed out hole in the fender.

Shouldn’t the two bolts where the fender attaches to the frame be one hex head bolt thru the frame and bracket and one carriage head type bolt that goes thru the wing on the frame, the bracket and the fender? Lang’s shows all hex head bolts….

I believe that’s a random washer that was used to keep the hole from getting bigger. It’s not a surprise to see a patch up used on a Model T. Sometime in the past a previous owner used what he had and was happy.
