I purchased new wire wheel lugs and hubs for my 1927 Touring, the wheel lugs measure .627" and the lug hole in the hub measures .624, will I be able to press these lugs in or do I need less than .003" interference.
If I do need less interference How do I go about fixing that?

This is why I am usually able to reuse removed studs. The old ones, I press out without hole saw cutting.
Re installing with extra press has worked. I didnt know any better @ the time.
The new studs dont need to go in press fit. They will be swedged tight after installing. I would hold the threaded stud in a lathe( or drill press) & file down the shaft to 0 to .001" press fit. I would not enlarge the hub holes as to conserve the size for the next guy another 100 years from now. IMHO
