Here is a dimensional drawing of the KR Wilson Transmission Shell Reamer Mandrel:

The body of the mandrel is made from 1.125” drill rod with an overall length of 11-3/8”. The left end is a an 11/16” square. The right end has a very slight taper of approximately 20 minutes of angle (1/3 of one degree) or about .054” per foot. The drive pin is 3/16” rod 1.575” long. KRW slow speed and reverse drum bushing reamers are bored with a matching taper to keep the reamer in perfect alignment with the mandrel, and the mandrel with the transmission bushing reaming jig.

The brake drum bushing reamer is an entirely different reamer with a 1.125” shank and the reamer is 1.000” in diameter. These are usually marked with the number 1 on the square drive and KR Wilson Buffalo, NY on the shank. Some examples are also marked W5 on the square.

The triple gear bushing reamer is also a separate reamer. Generally they are marked .6785 on the square and KR Wilson Buffalo, NY on the shank near the square.

Wilson supplied a T handle wrench to drive the reamers in the transmission bushing reaming jig. The square hole measures about .825” and matches the square on KR Wilson main bearing reamers.
