How come no one posted any pictures from Chickasha? Was no one there? Guess it didn’t happen if there are no pictures. Show us what you guys found.

I was too busy buying, selling and swapping lies to take pictures.

It was a seller’s market this year, just like last year. Those that came to sell had fair prices on things and those that came to buy were willing to pay them.

Early T parts as always were in high demand. I saw an early (09-10) pan on the floor in the south building, and by the time I told some compatriots about it, it was gone.

The deal of the show was a 1914 Studebaker touring car project at $6850. Needed wood and upholstery and paint, but otherwise all there and very solid. Hard to buy a pre-1915 six cylinder car for less than $10K anywhere.

There was as always much conversation about the future, but I can say that virtually every seller I talked to who had reasonable prices on things said they’d be back next year.

As always, the real sales and trading happened early. I didn’t set my stuff out until Friday morning, but most was gone by lunchtime.

I didn't take as many pictures as usual due to a broken camera, but I did get a few I'll post tomorrow. I didn't write down what I sold, but it was enough to pay for my space and the trip. Add the visits with fellow aficionados of the past, and sure, I'll be back next year.

Just got home. I'll post some pics in a day or two. Got to heal up first :) I sold a ton of stuff and bought a ton of stuff. Found a few real treasures. As usual I found my treasures after climbing in the trailers, digging deep, while most folks were standing beside the trailer just looking at me dig. I put on a rain coat and kept digging while most everyone was standing under the shed when the rain was coming down pretty good. If you want to find the good stuff, you have to work for it. :) We had a great time, met a lot of folks, I'll try to post pics as soon as possible ...

A great time as always. I sold a lot and bought a lot. I got a couple of Weaver Auto Twin Jacks, an original ruckstell shift link rod, part of a set of very early pre-beehive hasslers to hang on the wall, a Chicago Mark-E trans, an original metal battery box cover, etc, etc, etc. It’s also great to catch up with friends I rarely see.
