Yep, we are now LESS than EIGHT WEEKS away, from the 9th Annual Mid-Atlantic Pre-War Swap Meet!!

BUT REMEMBER, There’s MORE!!!

The MTFCI has joined ranks with the Shenandoah Valley Racket “T”ers to bring you THREE FULL DAYS OF TOURING immediately following our regularly scheduled two-day swap meet!
That’s correct. After two days of swap meet fun, we are going to fire up our Model T’s and spend Sunday through Tuesday touring the beautiful Shenandoah Valley and the surrounding area. There will be car museums, caverns, covered bridges, “Cooters Garage” from Dukes of Hazzard, Civil War battlefields and more.
So make plans now to spend May 12th and 13th perusing the swap meet and the 14th through the 16th behind the wheel of your Model T and seeing Virginia the way Henry intended.
This is an MTFCI sanctioned event and is limited to Model T’s only. Tour capacity is limited to the first 50 cars.

Getting anxious! Will start sorting out some stuff soon. Will be bringing some brass, assorted literature, some early periodicals (Motor Age, etc) from the early 1900s-teens, some nice early automobilia, early spark plugs, gas lamp burners, and whatever is still packed from Hershey. Looking forward to another great event and the chance to visit with everyone again.

If you have not been to Luray, you should check it out.
It is becoming one of the best pre war meets. Lots of good stuff that has not seen daylight in years.

I plan to be there with lots of recently discovered T parts that have not seen the light of day for years. Hoping for a great turnout!

I've been there twice. It's a lot of fun, but quite an expense from California! I flew out last year to Richmond, and was able to view the countryside on the way there.

MTFCI regional Model T tour begins Sunday following the swap meet. 3 days of touring the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. We will be traveling along the Shenandoah River and the Skyline Drive. Visiting Caverns, Civil War Battlefield, covered bridge, car museums, Cooters garage, brewery and much more. Come join us for T fun. Miles and miles of country road.

As Greg said there is a nice supply of Model T parts and some cars coming to the swap meet. It will be a great event as usual. As stated above this year we have added a 3 day tour. The registration for both events can be found on our website www.mapwsm.com
