These regulators are from my 1927 coupe. I purchased new ones. Should I throw these away or would someone find a use for them?

I'd keep them to replace the repros when they fail.

DONT THROW THEM AWAY ! Most folks would rather repair and use original components instead of repops. Why did you buy new ? Are these unserviceable ?

Is the pinion stem where the window crank attaches broken off? Looks like pot metal...
New pinions could be made. I sure as heck wouldn't throw them away.

You can get a repair kit from Lang's (and maybe the other suppliers):

NEVER throw anything original away. I keep a box of original stuff that I might replace, even fasteners, etc. Now, I am cleaning up those original fasteners and replacing the Ace Hardware bolts I put in 40 years ago. Why? Well, because they are original. I will even keep a busted up part as I might need it for future reference. Once you toss something in the trash, it's gone.

Any old part on a T may have some use for some one else out there, there is always good usable parts on a regulator!

Never buy a reproduction part to replace an operational or repairable original part that was made by Ford and has been with you car since it left the factory 96 years ago. The more original a car is, the better. There is something that is lost, when an original part is replaced with a new part that was not made by Ford in 1927. If It was me, I’d repair the original cranks and return those new ones to wherever you got them. Jim Patrick

I agree that you ought to keep or offer them to someone else but DONT throw them away. Reproductions are made for the late T’s but not for the earlier closed T’s. Your lucky repos are available for your car.
The folks who have the earlier ones have to look forever it seems to find one if they need it. I’ve been there and done that. I found one that was being thrown away but it offered on Ebay for parts. I repaired it and works fine. I was lucky to find it after almost 3 years.

I have a high school friend. Her 26-27 coupe is MISSING a set of window regulators, if you would like to give them a good home.
