Coils Restored

When I purchased my 1927 coupe in 1954, eight coils came with it. When I started the coupe restoration, I purchased a coil tester, and all tested OK. I had the "Coil Man" restore five, and I am keeping the other three for possible future use. I recently coated the five with three applications of boiled linseed oil per his recommendation.

I thought it would be good to share photos of all eight.

That "coil tester" you have is used only to check out the secondary windings of coils. A good tester to have when you're out in the field to purchase coils and not get stuck with bad ones for a rebuilding..... Would that tester be the one that John Regan supplied ??
