Several Small Steps in Getting the 27 Coupe Ready to Roll

Photos showing those small steps.
The third photo shows the clip pin used instead of pin with a cotter key. They say this makes changing fan belts easier. Any concerns about a clip vs a cotter key?
It took a sanding of the fan shaft with 320 and 400 grit to get it into the hub.

The spring clip should not be a problem.
The your red coil wire looks as if it's coming really close to the pan bolt. If so, relocate it slightly so it won't short when you retard your timer. Of course, you really won't know if it's an issue until you set your timing.

...and the blue wire at "1 o'clock" should have it's screwed-on connector turned around 180...as it is, every time the timer is advanced, the wire is doubled over and going to be pulled tight and will soon fatigue and break.
