Is the Ford NH the same as Holly NH?
I like to run Kingston's on my T's as a tribute to my Dad who worked at the Kingston plant in Kokomo for 26 years but today I pulled the leaking carb off the 09 and it said Ford NH on the tag. Turns out the drain was open a little and the carb looked like new and it runs good so I put it back on. I am not an expert on carb's so I ask the experts here, is this the same as a Holly NH?
Give an old car guy a barn and he won't throw anything away.

The only difference is the tag. Same carburetor.
The inevitable often happens.

Most of the ones I've seen are the side drain variety.

Slight differences in castings, etc. but they all pretty much work the same and use the same parts. It would be nice if someone would document all the Holley NH variations. There are at least 4 variations of tags sold by the major parts vendors and whenever anybody rebuilds one, they just put on “any tag they happen to have”... Therefore, any “rebuilt” NH could have been anything!

I wouldn't rely on anything the vendors sell, unless you know what you are doing!
