I run three sets of black Firestones and one set of white. What is a bn chief, is that railroad related? I like the tires.

ALL the current clinchers except Blockley are made in the same Vietnamese factory. They are all made to the same standards, of the same materials. They are essentially all the same tire. The high price for Firestones is for their appearance and for licensing the name, not better quality. Blockley tyres are also made in Vietnam, but by a different company. They are advertised as being of much better quality and longer lasting than the others. They are also the least expensive, being a few dollars less than Wards Riversides. Shipping from Britain makes the final cost of Blockleys higher than some other clinchers, but even with that they're still less than Firestones.
The inevitable often happens.
