June 10-11, 2023 – Niles, Fremont, California. 52nd Annual Speedster Endurance Run and Lowland Tour hosted by the Santa Clara Valley Model T Ford Club. Come join us for the "First and the Oldest" Run. We will start and finish in Niles Historic Area in Fremont and hit the backroads to the north and east. This year the Endurance Run speedsters will return after many years to Mt. Hamilton high above the Santa Clara Valley. Lowland Tour has a special historic destination in Livermore. Get your registrations in now. Tee shirts are available. Registration forms for the Endurance Run and the Lowland Tour are available on our club website at http://www.scvmtfc.org for registration and entry information.

The best donuts are at the Mt Hamilton Observatory. The ride on the back side is pretty nice too.

A picture of the cars at Lick Observatory. One of the observatory's telescope domes in the background. The route this year took us over Mount Hamilton from the San Jose side. The observatory is at the summit of Mount Hamilton @ 4265 ft. The route is a narrow winding 1½- 2 lane road with many 120 degree switchbacks. This was the 52nd running of this event.
On edit- here is a link to the observatory's web page that includes some history. The observatory was 1st built in the late 1800's.
