New floor and under seat pannel

The front floor boards in my 22 were old home made replacements and made out of oak. They were dried out and cracked and the “fingers” between the pedals kept breaking off. So I whipped up some new ones. They are not perfect, but they are much better than what I had and they go well with the rear floorboard I made a while back.

While I was at it, I decided to make a panel to go under the seat. You will notice that it’s not like the ones Ford made, but my body framing is a bit different (old restoration) and the original type won’t work (there is nothing to support the front cross piece). I bought a metal one, but it didn’t fit right either. So I made one up that looks pretty good and does the job. If I ever rebuild the body I will change the framing and do it right.

Looks good and will be covered by floor mat and the seat cushion. I agree with you.

Norman, I stop the "fingers" between the pedals breaking off by drilling deep holes in them and inserting a wooden dowel in the hole. It works a treat and is not noticeable at all
