Re: Interesting 1909?
That's not anybody's cup of tea. It's collection of parts from all different years and a few buggy parts thrown in for good measure.
Probably gave its creator some fun however.

Seems that "thing" was on here not too long ago. Not my "cup-a-T" either, but I agree with Jerry.

Here is the previous discussion of that car starting on Tue Apr 04, 2023.

It got more comments than some nicer cars.
Go figure.

Re: Interesting 1909?
Alot of work went into that, but it would take alot of work to make something out of it.
Worth about half what it is listed for.

Now we know who Rolls Royce stole their radiator design from.

So that’s a carriage body? Is that why the roof doesn’t reach the windshield?
Forget everything you thought you knew.

Re: Interesting 1909?
Yup. And it's rather a shame that the horse-drawn conveyance wasn't restored. It looks to be in remarkably good condition.

The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

Re: Interesting 1909?
It has possibilities. With some work, it could be a fun car. Fikr st move the body (seats) forward so the the front seat is closer to the steering wh eel. Replace the radiator with a Ford brass one and put a 15-16 hood former and hood on it. Put flat front fenders on it. Make it more like a 1910-11 topurabout. Give it a nice paint job. Would be fun to try.
At the present worth about $4000. I would take 6 or 8 thousand more to turn it into something nice .

Re: Interesting 1909?
A fellow who does horse drawn vehicles and Model Ts might get the most out of it. The body and top seem to be matched nicely for a buggy. The rest could be made into a Speedster, Depot Hack or add a proper original body.
