Does the leather door strap go under or on top of the upholstery and door panel?
And are the metal bezels that go around the latch handle and lock edge on the door panel in the catalogs going to fit a Classique door panel?

Cant say for sure about 1923, but my original 1924 has a woven strap and it goes under the upholstery and door panels.
