Dealer Badge
I met a new Model T owner yesterday who recently acquired a nice little coupe. The car is mostly original including the original floorboards which have a dealer badge from when it was sold new. I know a few of these badges have appeared in previous threads, but it was great to see and I feel it really adds to the pedigree of the car. Would love to see other dealer badges that people have on their cars. Here is the badge on his coupe.

Re: Dealer Badge
Looks like it was riveted to the wooden floorboard, Right?

Re: Dealer Badge
Russ,
Having lived in the greater Los Angeles area all my life, I fondly remember seeing television commercials on the local stations advertising Coberly Ford into the late 70s- early 80s
I have a dealership plate on my 26 Touring from the selling dealer. Fortner and Loud sold my car when new. They remained in business, under various versions of the name, until 2008. Another victim of the Great Recession.
I'll post a photo of it soon.

Re: Dealer Badge
Here is one on my 25 Roadster Pickup. Yes Engine number on tag matches one on engine.
Also, look at picture of the steering wheel center. Same name as tag. Never seen that before.

Re: Dealer Badge
Was it common practice for a dealer to put a badge on cars sold by them? Or was it a rare novelty?

Re: Dealer Badge
Here's the Bauer Ford badge on our '25 coupe which was sold new in Cincinnati about 10 miles where it now lives in Taylor Mill, KY. The Latonia Motor Company badge on our '22 touring is from a dealership that was located about 2 miles from where it's presently garaged, also in Taylor Mill. KY.
