I hope I found my fuel blockage

Getting a 1918 car that has been sitting at least 45 years zero compression zero spark zero fuel Thanks for The suggestion of checking the fuel filter Now to go to a tractor supply and clean everything out and get a new filter or two

No model T needs a fuel filter. Get your fuel system.clean and free flowing and you're good to go.

This old Model T will need the filter changed many times after 45 years to keep the carb from jamming up with debris It looks like coffee grounds I am scraping from system

Two choices - either remove the gas tank & have it cleaned at the local radiator shop OR just buy a new one - save yourself a lot of grief !

Looks like the fuel tank has debrie and rust in it if it had a fuel filter put on it. It’s a fix without removing the tank and cleaning it up.
After many years most old car and tractor tanks need a good cleaning.

If you remove the filter and it was clogged you found the problem. Put on a new filter, or don't and let the carburetor get clogged.

A glass sediment bowl is not original to a T...
What style T is it ? Under seat tank ?
Where was the glass bowl located ?
Could the original "potato" still be there in the bottom of the tank also ?
I agree with tank clean out regardless. You'll be changing filters every 15 minutes, with a tank full of 45 year old crapola !!

Was on tour in Rapid City several years ago, 26 runabout, sediment bowl kept cloging up. Was not pulling tank during the day tour. Stopped at hardware store bought a large magnet placed on opposite side of tank (drivers side) as a temporary fix, still there, working great, no clogs.
Worth a try!

Yes great idea, but still a bandaid. Car is not on the road yet, just do it right.

Been busy as a one-armed wall paper hanger today, so I'm late "re-chiming" in here! Like Steve Tomaso said, and I was originally gonna suggest it but needed more info, just bite the bullet and get a new tank. Sounds like yours is shot. Why waste time trying to clean/seal it, others have with some success, many have not. Ask Steve Jelf. I'd like to think my insistence back when he was having trial and error problems resulted in him giving in and buying a new tank. Something difficult I'm sure for Mr. Thrifty, but even he knows when to give in!! You'll be glad you did.

Three things are needed for a dependable T.
A good radiator for cooling
Good tires for driving,
A good fuel system which begins at the gas tank.
If one of those three has problems you won’t be driving your T for any length of time.
