I purchased rubber seals for my 26 coupe windshield and one of them is described as "Windshield cushion rubber 42" - 1-1/4" tall" and
on the Lang's web site it says "It goes against the bottom of the windshield so that water does not slip underneath the bottom frame".
Has anyone put one of these on. I assume that it goes on the bottom of the curved part and seals against the opening in the body but
not sure how it is held in place. I have been searching on line as well as past posts but cannot find any info about it. Any help would be
appreciated.

I just heard from Langs and this part is not for a coupe. Used on open cars.
Got a little confused when I was ordering.

Regarding installation on open cars, on my 1924 I found it helpful to tape the rubber seal to the cowl in a couple of places, then slip the bottom windshield frame into place. Once everything was in position, I was then able to pull out the tape out and tighten everything down.
