Want to take a drive to look at this TT(?). Looks to have a 26-27 trans with coils on the cowl? The lever by the seat, is that a two speed? Neat looking, not your standard body.

Looks like a TT stake truck. However the hood likes like a 26.Hard to tell because it could have been first sold in the fall of 1925.

Nice "aftermarket" truck cab, short running boards so pre-'26 BUT has 20" rear wheels and the front axle appears to have the '27 dip ! '26 - '27 engine & trans. - quite the different shifter than what I've seen before !

It is somewhat unusual for a 1925 through 1927 TT truck to have such a nice after-market cab on it. The Ford factory closed cab was a fine, solid , and practical one at a very reasonable price. It just didn't make sense to buy a chassis and then a body separately unless there was some special feature required for its intended use.
That looks like a really nice cab!
The hogshead does appear to be 1926/'27, and likely bolted to the back of the block, which makes it likely that he block is also 1926/'27. IF the truck was manufactured after December of 1925, there should be a serial number stamped on the top of a frame rail underneath where the floorboards should be. It is usually near the hand brake cross shaft, and can be on either side. IF that number is there, it can give you a "manufacture date" that would be almost to the day the truck was assembled at the Ford factory.
However, on these old trucks, a lot of things got changed over the years. The engine, the wheels, even the cab itself could have been changed at almost any time in the last 95 years. Pinning down the correct year n them can get tricky.
Good luck with it! It looks like a really good TT truck.

All TTs had the coil box on the firewall.
