Included are photos of the accessory Kirstin Gage (dash mount). The parts catalogue spells it "Kirston". The accessory literature describes it as either air pressure or float. This unit looks like air pressure.
Anyone have any experience with this type of gauge and it's operation?
thanks
Kevin

I expect that operates the same as this one (literature for sale on eBay cheap https://www.ebay.com/itm/374363131458)
Looks like you need the test of it, or fabricate it

I will not contemplate fitting anything made for a C------ on any of my Fords. :D

Ford of Canada accessories literature AD714 shows the gauge available as an option.
So, this should of been available for your ancestors down under to put on their Ford.

I think the design of the sender was similar to the 1932-34ish Fords. The gauge itself was a glass tube with a dyed liquid vs the Kirstin which had an air driven needle.
