When we were in Maui there was a Model T in a park on display in Lahina. I wonder if it got burnt?[attachment=0]Maui T 2.jpg

It looks like it has perished. See the overlay map at https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-66465570
The museum address is 187 Prison Street, Lahaina

By using google maps to navigate the overlay map I would say it was definitely burned.

That's me looking at the T. According to the information that car was imported from the Phillipines before WW2 and had been used on the island for many years. It was in a park. I don't think it was a museum.

Did dome mapping. The location of the Model T is on Prison St near the from of the Prison entrance. There is a huge tree on the left and wood structure to the right. From some maps of the fire it would seem that the winds were from East to West and the wall may have protected it. That area was engulfed in the fire and in a fire storm the heat would have attacked it

Worse than the fate of the Model T of course is all those poor souls who died in the fires. Awful way to go. And imagine the fright of those, especially kids who just can't fathom what's going on...that had to literally jump into the ocean to save themselves. This should not be happening in modern day I would say.

I was able to find the prison where the T is/was from the lnk tat Jeff provided https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-66465570
There are structures in the rectangle that appear to have been missed by the fire storm. Possibly because of the prison wall and lack of vegetation within the walls. I'd give it a 75% chance of survival because of the missed buildings & wall protection .
