Anybody know if the AC brakes are back in production? If so, what is the contact information?

Larry Sidmore, the prior supplier, recently passed.

The tooling was sold as part of his estate.

Can the person who bought the tooling identify themselves and share when/if they plan to resume production?

Dan Bennet bought the rights for the AC brakes and will start producing them. Right now he is making the jigs for them if the paying jobs will give him some time to work on them. When will the brakes be on the market I don't know, but I will keep you all informed. The brakes will be for the 25 and older cars, hopefully he will also make them for the 26 and 27 cars later on.

What "Rights? there are no "Rights" to reproduce aftermarket Model T parts other than the FMC licensing for factory parts.

OK I'm lost,
As far as I understud the sale was the for the Name rights A-C brakes, fictures, casting patterns & current stock of parts. As I understud there was enough parts to produce 100 sets. I did not see that happening from the pics. My thoughts where that there would be some engineering needed
to start production up as there may have not been all the equiptment to do all production in the described part of the sale. I personaly was
happy someone took on the product. Even though I had a financial backer I concidered that to be a full scale flunking of retirement. I think we
need to let who ever took on the project to do what they need to do to make a good safe product. That was the legal advice I got when I looked
into this. And we should be ready to pay the cost of product liability insurance for thier & our protection. Remember tort laws change from state
to state so you have to plan for the worst case possible.
Craig.

What I have seen is that Dan had about 10 bands that he was putting on the linings and the levers that needed the hole drilled and finished. And the rights wasn't the right word to use, he just bought the plans for reproducing them
