Been thru Langs cataloge and can't find the brass door strips that are used on 1912 cars to cover the front compartment threshold. Did I miss something? Are these available?

All vendors are out of stock and it's unlikely more will be reproduced. If someone has dimensions, location of screw holes, etc I could make something to protect the sills.

Richard,
Is this what you’re looking for ? It’s an old repop brass that’s been laying around the conservatory for decades. All my Ts date from ‘14 to ‘26 so I don’t need it.

Richard,
Originals show up on Tbay occasionally. The repros are disappointing compared to originals. I have a pair of reproduction rear.

Then, do you need the left most pair in Kim’s photo ? I compared my repop with his originals and I found 8 black diamonds width-wise on my repop and correct 7 black diamonds on his. You think Original knows that ?

Back when I was in the White Field at Hershey across the aisle from me was Doorsills llc. They make all kinds of Doorsills. They don’t have a website but here is link to AACA thread about them. They were nice people to talk with, but we got moved when White Field closed.
Try them. Read down thread cause guy put wrong number at top but changed it later in thread. Dan

Richard-
The 12 Commercial Roadster I have has the sill plates in them. I don't know if the previous owner used reproductions or originals in his original restoration, but they are fairly long and skinny, more along the lines of the pair on the far right of Kim Dobbins' photo. If it would be of any help I can take some photos for you.

Thanks for all the helpful information. Steve Tomaso was kind enough to offer me a set of NORS sill plates which I am purchasing. They are the skinny type with a checkerboard background and Ford logo
