Rust Dissolver?

Post by Marv K » Sun May 19, 2019 12:03 pm

Just caught a PowerNation video about radiator rust. They used a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water, then ran the engine for a while and drained for coolant refill. Also showed a rusty piece immersed for a couple of days, and the rust was gone. Do a good rinsing and take it from there! Am wondering if anyone has tried this method????
"Let's Figgur it owt!" Just fix it (right), and make it work.....
Aah-OO-Gah! (and), "Happy T-ing!"

Yes, I did. It cleans, but it won't restore a radiator that's shot. I bought a new Berg's. Sometimes cleaning is all you need, and sometimes not.
