Wood mouldings on model t's

I have seen wood moulding on top of the doors of modelt tourings i know they were an accessory anyone have any patterns or does someone out there make them.

Yes they were an accessory sold out of the catalogs. Originally made of 7/16 thick mahogany . What year T do you have? They were remade over the years by different people, not sure if they still are.

I believe you need to send a telegraph to confirm whether or not those prices are still valid. I think they raised the prices to 60 cents or more in 1918.

I used to have a set of those on my ‘23 touring - for exactly 50 years. Sure liked them.

They are simple to make. Take the old moldings off to use as patterns. Then re-saw mahogany, walnut, or other hardwood into thin strips. Trace the outline and details from the originals, Cut and finish with spar varnish.
