Does Steve know how to access the go fund me funds? Now that he is moving to rehab he could probably use some extra funds. I am suspect he would like to replace his lap top and such.

IMO he would be wise to hoard the funds to pay for the eye-popping hospital bill that will be due even after Medicare and his insurance have made their contributions. Just sayin'.

Maybe I am WAY off base here, ...but I would think 'fault' has been established that it was the driver of the vehicle that hit Steve. I thought eye-witness reports, and a video of the crash substantiated this. Likely, Steve's own insurance will pickup when (-i.e.: if) the limits of the other driver's insurance maxes-out, and remaining medical expenses will be expunged. Since the Go-Fund Me funds collected are basically money given to Steve without stipulation, -I would think Wayne's thoughts are valid. I would agree with Wayne's thoughts and make sure Steve knows how to access it, and let him spend it on whatever he desires. A new laptop may be the very best therapy he needs at this time??

I wasn't suggesting we tell Steve how to spend his money. I was inquiring as to whether he has access to the go fund cash.
