Installing new spark - throttle rods

Post by Gary Gregory » Sat May 25, 2019 6:06 pm

I'm rebuilding the steering column for my 27 Roadster..new paint..bushings and spark & throttle rods. As you can see I can't get the Pitman on because the spark rod is to long ! It looks like I need to at least cut the rod up to the pin hole ?

Make sure as was suggested in the link that the pin is in the slot in the housing and also the long pin is in the correct hole if they have been replaced.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!
