Although I never knew Michael, Iām always saddened when one of our numbers is no longer with us. But Iām sure hes imparted much of his Model T, and specifically ā12 delivery, knowledge and devotion to others.

I did not know him, although have seen pictures of those two delivery trucks a few times. Both of them are beautiful!
My condolences to his family and close friends.

Michael has been collecting Eating bits to build such a car for many years. He was fastidious in his attention to details as he built his collection. I never did get the set of original thick headed bolts used to connect the water outlets from the block.
The number of Qantas staff at his funeral was testament to his relationship with his fellow ream workers.
He broke a leg when mis-stepping from a ladder but was as cheerful about life as usual, until a blood clot caused his demise.
He was a really nice bloke, who regularly visited me with our champion brass light restorer. Sadly he to has passed on. I will miss their visits.

How on Earth does auto correct/predictive text get Eating out of early?
The two C cab T's in the photos are beautiful replicas built here in South Australia. Michael's hunt for genuine Ford period correct parts led him to many friendships here and in the USA, with the aim of producing his own van. It would be as correct in mechanical detail as would be possiible, given the time and energy he spent researching and locating parts. Such was the way he worked.
I will really miss enthusiasm and can do attitude.
